For ALFs
You run a good home. Families just can't find you.
We work with every kind of licensed assisted living facility, from small family homes to large communities and memory care. I run one too, so I know. Here, your home gets a real page with your photos, your rooms and your prices. There's no sign-up fee and no monthly fee. A referral fee applies only when a private pay family we introduce moves in, never on Medicaid.

You've probably seen it.
One case goes out to eight or ten homes at once, and then everyone chases the same family.
Miami Placement works differently.
We built a tool for the people who help place seniors every day: hospital and rehab discharge planners, case managers, social workers, doctors' offices, home health and hospice teams, health plans, and elder law and guardianship attorneys.
No more calling around and waiting for a call back.
Right from their phone or computer, they fill in a short screen with easy checkboxes.
The area, the budget, who pays, and the same basics you'd look for on an 1823.
No name and no date of birth.
Does the person have Alzheimer's or dementia?
Can they walk on their own, or do they use a walker or a wheelchair?
Can they get in and out of bed by themselves?
Do they need help with bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, or the bathroom?
Are they continent?
The homes that may fit get those needs, with no names.
Each home answers yes or no, with its open bed and its price.
There's no sign-up fee and no monthly fee.
A referral fee applies only when a private pay family we introduced moves in, and never on Medicaid of any kind, including long-term care.
It all runs on your phone or computer.
Every week, every two weeks or every month, whichever you pick, we text you and ask how many beds are open.
You reply with a number, and your page updates.
Your rooms and prices are on your page, and you can change them anytime.
When someone may fit your home, you get the needs by text or email before you ever say yes.
It doesn't replace the 1823, but there are no surprises.
You decide if it's a resident you can care for, and you answer yes or no.
Names and phone numbers stay private until the family picks your home and agrees.
Then we help set up the visit, and after the visit we follow up with both sides until the family decides.

Or just send us a text, and we'll help you.
We do most of the work for you
- Find your home and we fill in the name, address, license and beds from AHCA's records.
- Write in English or Spanish, whichever is easier. We translate it automatically, so your page reads in both languages.
- Your answers save as you type. Stop anytime and pick up later on any phone or computer.
- Skip what you don't have yet. Your page shows only what you fill in, so it never looks empty.
- Once you're live, if you said yes to bed texts, we text you to ask about open beds. Just reply with a number.
Joining Miami Placement
We list licensed assisted living facilities of every size, from small family homes to large communities. Facilities join by request. Before a listing goes live, our servers match it to the facility’s AHCA license, and we confirm it with a code texted to the phone AHCA has for the facility. We accept only facilities whose AHCA license is active and in good standing. Every day before business hours, our servers check each license against AHCA’s official records. If AHCA suspends or revokes a facility’s license or stops new admissions, its page comes down automatically until the matter is resolved. If anything else changes on the state’s record, we look at it the same day. New inspection results update the facility’s grade.
How your grade works
Every home gets a letter grade, A, B, C, D or N, from its own public AHCA inspection record, by one published rule our server applies to every home. Nobody here changes a grade by hand, including for Mary's House ALF. Your grade shows the date of the AHCA record it came from and links to it, and it never changes the order homes are listed in. To move up: get a clean routine inspection, and every older item counts half. Items drop off after 3 years, fines after 5. In your account you'll see each item behind your grade, and a recheck button that pulls your record from AHCA again that night. We don't change grades by request.

Read what the video says
When a family starts looking for assisted living, one of the first questions is simple.
Is this a good place?
Florida inspects every licensed assisted living home and posts what it finds.
But those reports are long, technical, and hard to read on a bad night.
And counting problems can be misleading.
A home with three paperwork items can look worse than a home with one serious one.
That isn't fair to the home, and it doesn't help the family.
I'm Jorge Recarey.
I'm a licensed assisted living administrator, and I run a small home in Cutler Bay.
I've been through these inspections myself.
So we built a grade that reads the state's record the way someone in the field would.
Here's how it works.
Every item the state cites has a class.
The more serious the class, the more points it counts.
A danger to a resident counts the most.
A paperwork item counts the least.
Fines and other legal actions count too.
We only look at recent history.
Items from the last three years, and legal actions from the last five.
Older history drops off.
A home is judged on how it runs today.
And we reward improvement.
When a home's latest routine inspection comes back clean, everything before it counts half.
The points become a letter.
A, B or C, based on points and how serious the items were.
D means the license is suspended or not active.
N means the home is new and hasn't had its first routine inspection yet.
Every grade shows the date of the state record it came from, and a link to that record, so anyone can check it.
The full rule is published on our site, in English and Spanish.
The same rule applies to every home.
That includes the home I run.
Nobody at Miami Placement changes a grade by hand, for any reason.
And no home can pay to move up the list.
Grades never change the order homes appear in.
Every night we check every home's license with the state, and every home's full inspection record is pulled again at least once a week.
Before any grade changes, the system checks that the state's data still looks right.
If something looks off, it keeps the last good grades instead of guessing.
If a home thinks its grade is wrong, it can ask for a recheck.
That night we pull its record from the state again and run the same rule.
If the state's record changes, the grade changes with it.
A grade isn't a rating of the care, the staff or how a home feels.
It's a clear, fair summary of the public record, so families can ask better questions and good homes get the credit they've earned.
Visit a home.
Meet the people.
And use the grade as one tool to help you decide.
Miami Placement.
One fair rule for every home.

What the bed check text looks like
Hi Maria, it's Miami Placement. How many beds are open today at your home? Reply with a number, like 2, or 0 if you're full. Reply STOP to stop these texts.
Your rooms and prices are already on file, so you only tell me which bed. No app or login needed for this.
Photo rules
Photos that show residents, staff or visitors go up only if every person who can be recognized, or their legal representative, said yes in writing. Never a name on a door, a medicine cart, a chart, paperwork or anything that shows someone's health. Every photo is cleaned up so your rooms look their best: straightened, brightened, sharp. Never changed to look like something it isn't. Photos go up when you add them. We review every photo and may take down any one we find inappropriate, have a concern about, or think isn't good enough.
How the agreement works
Two steps. The first has no fee and commits you to nothing.
- Register your homeAdd your rooms, prices and photos. No sign-up fee and no monthly fee, today and later.
- Sign before the first familyBefore I send you a family, we sign a short referral agreement online. Your account shows it in plain words, in English and Spanish, and you keep a signed copy there.
What it says, in short
You pay only when a private pay family I introduced moves in. Never for a Medicaid family. No listing fee, no monthly fee. Nobody pays to be shown first.
The full agreement opens in your account once I've confirmed your home. Want to read it before you register? Call or email me and I'll send it over. jorge@MiamiPlacement.com
How reviews work
Families can leave reviews on your page. Families we placed get a Verified badge. You can answer any review publicly. We never hide a fair bad review, and nobody can pay for a good one, including us.
Questions owners ask
What's the catch?
No listing fee and no monthly fee. You pay a referral fee of one month's rate only when a private pay family we introduced moves in. Medicaid families never cost you anything.
Will you send me bad fits?
I run a home. I know what a bad fit costs. I'd rather send you nobody.
You run a home. Won't you keep the good families?
When my home fits, I say so to the family. When it doesn't, or we're full, the family goes somewhere else. That's why I need you.
What about the big sites?
Keep them if they work for you. We're not exclusive.
Does a Founding Home badge or paying more move me up?
No. Nothing moves a home up in the list. Families see places by fit: area, care, room and budget.
List your home. No sign-up fee and no monthly fee.
Registering costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Before I send you a family, we sign a short referral agreement. Two steps, in that order.
Nine short steps that save as you go: your phone, a walk through your home with your camera, your rooms and beds with a price for each bed, Medicaid, care, and your story. Stop anytime and pick up later on any phone or computer.
