Straight answer for homes

What does Miami Placement charge an assisted living home?

No sign-up fee and no monthly fee. A home pays a referral fee only when a private pay family we introduced moves in, and never for a family on Medicaid.

What costs nothing

  • Registering your home, which commits you to nothing.
  • Your page with rooms, prices and photos.
  • The bed check texts, and being shown to families and professionals who fit.
  • Nobody pays to be shown first, including us.

When a fee applies

  • Only when a private pay family that Miami Placement introduced moves into your home.
  • The amount and the terms are in the referral agreement, in plain words, in English and Spanish.
  • You sign it online before the first family is sent to you, and you keep a signed copy in your account.

Medicaid families

  • A home never pays Miami Placement for a family on Medicaid.
  • Florida's assisted living law, section 429.195, does not allow a referral fee for a resident on Medicaid.
  • We still introduce Medicaid families to homes that fit them, at no cost to the family.

Who pays

  • The home pays the referral fee, never the family.
  • Families get our help at no cost to them.
