For guardians
Keep track of every ward's visits
Florida asks a professional guardian to visit each ward at least once every calendar quarter (s. 744.361(14)). This keeps the list for you: who's done for the quarter, who's coming due, and when your next planned visit is.
How your information is protected
- Names, homes and notes are locked on your own phone with a passphrase only you know, using AES-256 encryption, before anything is saved.
- On this phone: nothing leaves the phone. Miami Placement never receives it.
- With an account (opening soon): only the locked version reaches our server, so we can't read a ward's name, and a stolen copy of our database wouldn't show one either. Sign-in needs your passphrase and a code from your phone. Email reminders say how many visits are due, never who.
- We never share anything here with any home, and it has nothing to do with placement.
General information, not legal advice. Your court order and chapter 744 decide what you must do. Some judges or programs ask for more visits than the minimum.
