Questions
Can I use Aetna Better Health to pay for assisted living?
Aetna Better Health long-term care pays for care services in an assisted living home that works with the plan. It does not pay room and board, which is paid separately, usually from the person's own income.
What if the home I like does not work with Aetna Better Health?
Ask us. Homes can add plans, and a person can sometimes change plans. Plan changes go through Florida Choice Counseling, 1-877-711-3662, and there are rules on when a change can be made.
What does Miami Placement charge a Medicaid family?
Nothing. No home pays us for a Medicaid family, and we help those families at no cost to them.
